Fresh shrimp
Marinated to order, never ahead. That is why the smell arrives before the cup does.
We are a neighbourhood cevichería that was born in Comuna 13 and became a name in Medellín, one well-made shrimp ceviche at a time.

La Casa del Camarón opened in 2021 in San Javier, on Carrera 101. The recipe was simple: fresh shrimp, house pink sauce, lime, cilantro and red onion, served in cups by the ounce so everyone could order exactly what they wanted to eat.
Over the years came the Choclicamarón, now our signature dish; the gratin seafood cazuela; the shrimp sandwich; a location in Envigado; a three-wheeled food cart that takes the flavour to other neighbourhoods; and a community that follows us online and fills the place every Saturday.

The pink and the red are ours. They are why the ceviche tastes like La Casa del Camarón.
We were born in Comuna 13 and we are still there. The food cart exists to reach people where they are.
Food creators from Medellín and the Teleantioquia team have come to San Javier to try the Choclicamarón and the house ceviche.
And if you cannot come, the shrimp comes to you.
